My Om Namo specializes in offering customized puja packages, providing online Darshans, online booking of Pandits to individuals and corporates who do not have adequate contacts or time to organize the pujas themselves.

What we did/Solution

My Om Namo aimed to reach as many urbanites as possible to make their puja and festive season less troublesome. My Om Namo was successfully launched in Mumbai and other cities simultaneously. It offered puja services, daily astrology information, temple darshan, etc.

To ease the struggle of buying daily puja samagri, My Om Namo introduced Monthly puja kit, which had full month’s supply of agarbatti, matchbox, cotton for diyas, kumkum, etc. Along with the monthly puja kit, My Om Namo keeping in mind requirement for different puja for different Indian customs special puja kits were introduced like Sankashti month puja kit, Shravan month puja kit,Nagpanchami puja kit, etc.

Pre Series A funding of $1million was received by My Om Namo after the intial launch of the app.

Eco-friendly Ganesha idols and their online booking press releases made it a hot topic and helped with the environment as well.  Tie ups with various Ganesh pandals to promote My Om Namo puja kits and a selfie contest with Ganesha made My Om Namo the focus the of public’s attention.

Results

My Om Namo app was launched successfully, which immediately reached thousands of customers in India and Abroad. The application shipped 1000 Ganesh Idols to UAE, UK, Australia, and Malaysia to celebrate the festival of Lord Ganesh.

My Om Namo raised USD 1 million in pre-series A funding from a group of high net worth individuals from the UAE.

Due to the popularity of the app, Times of India with their app collaborated with My Om Namo to maintain and run their app.

The Forbes magazine carried a three-page story which highlighted the Ganpati booking from the app from across the globe. The article showcased the process and effectiveness of the app in reaching out to Lord Ganesh Devotees from around the globe. Electronic coverage appeared on CNBC awaz.
